Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) Technology

Delta Offers a Full Lineup of Speed Control Fans utilizing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology. PWM regulates the voltage signal between fully on and fully off to control the speed of the fan. Advantages of Delta's PWM fans include: flexible speed control, low switching noise, low vibration and high power efficiency.

The main advantage is that power loss in the switching device is very low. When a switch is off, there is practically no current, and when it is on, there is almost no voltage drop across the switch. Therefore, power loss is close to zero.

Delta's thermal technology continues to provide better performance, high reliability, and cost-effective thermal cooling solutions. PWM is one of the primary reasons Delta fans have a clear advantage over other manufacturers. We offer a full line of PWM speed control fans with dimension ranging from 36x36x28mm up to 280x280x162mm.
