PolySwitch™ Family Adds 550mA Device To LVR Series

Raychem Circuit Protection has expanded its LVR series of PolySwitch® resettable devices. The new device increases the maximum hold current rating from 400mA to 550mA and helps protect devices from damage caused by overcurrent and overtemperature fault conditions. This addition gives the LVR series full coverage of applications up to 120 Watts at 220VAC and 60 Watts at 120VAC.

Designed for use in line voltage applications, the polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) devices are rated at 240 VAC, permitting maximum voltages of up to 265VAC.
