MIL-DTL-38999 Series I connectors are designed for harsh environments with up to 128 contacts in an environmentally sealed insert. Operating between -65 °C and 200 °C, they offer front and rear wall mount options, as well as jam nut receptacles and RFI grounding plugs. With 9 shell sizes and 52 insert arrangements, these connectors use M39029 rear release crimp contacts in various sizes, including coax and twinax. The high strength aluminum shells come in plating options like light iridescent yellow cadmium, olive drab cadmium, electroless nickel, and black anodized aluminum, with RoHS certified cadmium-free finishes available. Suitable for military applications, these connectors feature gold-plated removable crimp contacts and bayonet coupling for secure mating.
