MIL-DTL-38999 Series I connectors have up to 128 contacts contained in an insert. They are environmentally sealed, and have an operating temperature between -65 °C and 200 °C. MIL-DTL-38999 I harsh environment connector family feature front wall mount , rear wall mount and jam nut receptacles and RFI grounding plugs. They are offered in 9 shell sizes and 52 insert arrangements, utilizing M39029 rear release crimp contacts in sizes 22D, 22M, 22, 20, 16, and 8 (coax and twinax). MIL-DTL-38999 I connectors come in high strength aluminum shells. They are available in a variety of plating options, including light iridescent yellow cadmium, olive drab cadmium, electroless nickel, and black anodized aluminum. Selection includes RoHS certified cadmium free finishes.
