E-14-017662 (xml) - Product Improvement. Change the plating located in the wire crimp area of contacts 66394-4, 66394-8 and 66405-4 from gold flash over nickel to matte tin over nickel. The plating located on the mating end of these contacts will not change. The plating in the center of the contact between the mating end and crimp end will change from gold flash over nickel to nickel only. Following the change the contacts will continue to comply with TE Product Specification 108-10042. No changes are being made to the following parts: 66394-1, 66394-5, 66394-7 and 66405-1.
