NMEA 2000 Starter Kits
Amphenol LTW (ALTW) offers a variety of high reliability connectors, cable assemblies and accessories that are specifically designed to meet the NMEA 2000 protocols standard. The NMEA 2000 network system is not only used for marine electronic equipment and display units within ships and boats, but also helps build a connection among the multiple devices to share data over one common channel.
The NMEA 2000 standard contains the requirements of a serial data communications network to inter-connect marine electronic equipment on vessels. Amphenol’s NMEA is multi-master and self-configuring, and there is no central network controller. The NMEA has an IP68 waterproof rating and a receptacle temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
