3M™ Tape 57 is a polyester film; electrical tape. This tape is used to insulate applications that require excellent dielectric strength. It withstands a temperature range of 32 to 266 °F (0 to 130 °C); 3M™ Polyester Film Electrical Tape 57 has a polyester film Backing that offers resistance against chemicals; solvents; moisture; cut through and abrasion. This tape is highly conformable with a thermosetting; rubber adhesive. It is Designed for use as layer Insulation; a coil Cover and a capacitor wrap where higher electrical strength is required. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
