09/30/2022	512693 - Update on Toray PCN 512249. We are issuing a modified PCN for OBS PCN#512249 to update you on additional information when ordering impacted parts 5454833/71, 5455033/71. As we communicated to you recently, as of August 17th, Molex is no longer able to ship the impacted materials with a UL certification label to you. We have been instructed by UL to remove the label on these parts shipping after this date. We provided you the option of accepting delivery upon agreeing to a waiver relating to flammability and the lack of UL certifications of the Affected Toray Resins. At the time of this letter, we have not received a signed waiver from your company. As a result, your current open orders have been placed on shipment hold until a signed waver if received. After, September 30, 2022, orders in our system without a customer signed waiver will be cancelled.	Download

After 18/Aug/2022, we can only supply without UL. 08/01/2022	512035 - Change Suppliers. As previously noted, products sold to you by moles contain resins from Toray Industries Inc. (collectively the "affected Toray Resins") that were inappropriately certified by Underwriters Labs (UL). Molex has since learned the affected Toray Resins have their UL certs Revoked as of March 31.2022 due to the reasons noted above molex has mad the decision to stop shipping products that use affected Toray Resins March 8. 2022 unless an accommodation can be reached this PCN is to Inform You about the Change from Toray resin to other UL94 V-0 resin which we will implement to resume stable supply of these products.
