| 02/15/2015 | GCM 10673002 - Product Component Change. Molex reported in GCN 10651990 that in series 74162, the C and D options were going to be obsoleted and replaced with options E and F. Also reported was that Molex would be removing the bottom two windows on assembly Options A, B, and G. The design change is to improve the robustness of the housings that are used in the 74162 final assembly series. Options E and F do not have windows on the bottom of the housing because of the polarization slots. This notification, GCN 10673002, is to inform you that Molex had decided to reinstate options C and D with the design change to the housings, as well as continue to offer options E and F. The design change to C and D options is to improve robustness of the housings by removing the bottom two windows.
