Due to interface design restrictions, the Product has no protection ribs at the latch (see below picture), and therefore, external force, pressure, temperature, and/or time during transport may impact the latch’s final position. Molex is removing the inner plastic bag with its packaging in order to help address this issue. Please also note careful handling is needed to protect the latch during storage, processing and transportation until final mating.
