Hirose IX40G Series Connector (In-line Jack Version)
Hirose Electric IX40G in-line jack variation joins the ix Industrial connector series supporting CAT5e (1 Gbps) and CAT6A (10 Gbps) cabling. The IX40G series addresses market needs for simpler, space-reducing wiring of equipment across longer distances, reducing functional space by up to 75% and footprint by two-thirds compared to RJ45 solutions. In addition to in-line connections, the IX40G series supports panel mounting for ease of use as an interface. Specified as a new standard interface connector for Ethernet applications, the product series features an optimized EMI/ESD shielding design for safe and secure data transmission up to 10 Gbps. With wiring flexibility, the device is suitable for traditional and high-speed data transmission applications.
