Molex Brad Micro-Change CAT6A Connector System
Molex introduces the Brad® Micro-Change® CAT6A Connector System that is suited for harsh and high-vibration applications. This connector system delivers next-gen speeds up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet and superior signal integrity through a 360° shielded X-code interface. The connector system also provides optimal signal performance without system noise interference via the two shielding crosses of the M12 connector.
Molex's Brad Micro-Change CAT6A Connector System delivers design flexibility through a compact, robust connector interface. The recessed male pins within the die-cast X-Code shield prevent damage to the pins during mating and eliminate scooping. The nickel-plated die-cast housings perform reliably in harsh, demanding environments.
- M12 CAT6A X-Code or RJ45 connector design delivers CAT6A speeds of 500Mhz for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and allows for design flexibility through a compact, robust connector interface.
- Complete 360° shielded design provides optimal signal performance without system noise interference via the two shielding crosses of the M12 connector.
- Recessed male pins within die-cast X-code shield prevents damage to pins during mating and eliminates scooping.
- Factory overmolded and tested cable assemblies in 26 AWG wire gauge assure uncompromised reliability in harsh environments.
- IDC wire termination ensures a secure and reliable wire connection.
- Nickel-plated die-cast housings perform reliability in harsh, demanding environments.
- Standard M12-threaded coupling nut mating interface with internal and external o-ring seats guarantee IP67 protection from dust and water.
- Receptacle PCB standoffs secure the receptacle to the PCB and prevent damaging of the PCB and contacts.
- Through-Hole-Reflow (THR) mounting technology allows for automated assembly process for attaching the receptacle to the PCB.
