Mini-Fit Overmolded Cable Assemblies

Molex's Mini-Fit® Overmolded Cable Assemblies with strain relief are available in multiple circuit sizes and cable lengths for a rugged signal connection. These cable assemblies are designed to meet the need for a high contact-density wire-to-board connector for signal or power applications. Available in circuit sizes from 2-to 10-, Molex's Mini-Fit Overmolded Cable Assemblies offer positive latching which ensures secure retention when receptacle and header or receptacle and plug are mated.

The overmolded strain relief reduces mechanical stress on wires and terminals while the polarized mating geometry prevents mismating. The terminal provides 4 independent points of contact that offer redundant, secondary current paths for long-term electrical performance and reliability. The terminal polarization tab also ensures the terminals can only be fully inserted into the plugs and receptacles. Both custom and off-the-shelf assemblies are available which provides quick availability for development and production programs.
