Panduit is implementing a change to the packaging of our Copper Connectivity product line in order to continue towards our goal of providing more sustainable solutions. The change will affect a large portion of our individually packed copper connectivty products. The updated packaging focuses on a reduction in single-use plastics and will not affect product performance. The overall height of the bag will be reduced by 1 inch (~25mm) which will result in the removal of the merchandising hang hole in the top portion of the bag. This packaging update will be a running change, so some mixed inventory of old and new bags may be experienced. | 08/01/2021 | PAN-PCN-20210728-3 - running change. NetKey punchdown-style jack modules are undergoing a modification to the manufacturing process. External form and fit will be unchanged and visual appearance will be virtually identical. Since this is a running update, there is no change to the part number or product specifications at this time. This Product Change Notification is intended to be informative; no further action need be taken. Affected products include NetKey punchdown-style jack modules in Category 6A (NK6X88M**), Category 6 (NK688M**), and Category 5e (NKP5E88M**). Details of changes are described below: - The material for the front housing is being changed from an ABS to a polycarbonate resin to provide a maximum operating temperature of 75°C for the jack modules. Panduit has worked extensively to match as closely as possible the appearance of the existing material however very minor differences in color shade or surface gloss may be noticeable on some jack colors under certain lighting conditions. - Minor internal changes have been made and will result in a slight cosmetic difference at the port opening of the jack modules (see images below). The change will roll out to NetKey jack module product lines and global warehouses over time, beginning on the availability date below and continuing throughout 2021. | Download | |||
