Rotary & Linear Position Sensors

Rotary position sensors track angular displacement, measuring the rotational movement of an object. They utilize various technologies like potentiometers, encoders (absolute or incremental), and resolvers, providing precise angular data crucial in robotics, automotive steering systems, and machinery where monitoring rotational positions is essential. Linear position sensors, on the other hand, track linear displacement along a straight path, employing technologies such as linear encoders, LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers), or magnetostrictive sensors. These sensors offer accurate linear position measurements, integral in applications like machine tool positioning, hydraulic systems, and motion control mechanisms.
