SNAP IN Technology

With SNAP IN, installation and maintenance work are as quick as snapping your fingers. The new connection is as simple in principle as it is to use: the stripped conductor is inserted directly into open connection points and the snap connection snaps into place with a click. And it’s just as fast the other way around. By simply activating the lever, the operator can open the connection point again and remove the connected conductor.

Simple!
Material-saving wiring without tools and time-consuming crimping of wire-end ferrules.

Quick!
Thanks to the preloaded spring, SNAP IN can be connected as quickly as a snap of the fingers

Safe!
Security you can hear! A clear “click” noise signals a secure connection.

Ready-to-Robot!
With the innovative SNAP IN connection, fully automated wiring processes are a reality.

Step 1
Insert the stripped conductor into the contact point.

Step 2
The conductor contacts in the contact point with a clearly audible click. The triggered contact point is also signaled visually by an increase in the height of the pusher.

Step 3
The pusher can be pressed to release the conductor quickly and easily at any time, pre-loading the contact point for further wiring.

Thanks to the unique “mouse-trap principle,” the SNAP IN connection connects in record time. The handling is as simple as the principle itself: the stripped conductor is plugged directly into an open connection point, and with a click, the snap-in connection snaps into place. The reverse is just as quick: Press the pusher and the connection point re-opens.
